I am the poster child for failure. I had an alcoholic dad, hung out with the wrong crowd through school, teen pregnancy, married young, divorced, remarried.

For a long time, I felt like I was never enough, and I was ashamed of my story. But through it all I have come to be a pretty phenomenal woman!

Now I can say that I am a successful…


Who is…Authentic—Patient—Passionate


But… I’m still a little bit of a Trainwreck who thrives on chaos!

I hope to inspire anyone who has faced adversity with stories of my own dysfunctions. I want you to feel empowered to go out and face the world after reading about the challenges that I have faced.

  1. Perhaps you could turn the idea of dysfunction round. Perhaps you could see it as a spur to understand things at a deeper level. Not that your tricky experiences have been helpful, but that having survived them you are interested in seeing things in the round – round corners so to speak. Good luck and lovely layout. Helen
