Hopefully you saw day one in the previous post. Here are some ideas to get you through the first week with your Elf. I try to mix the better ideas with the ones that are less work to keep it balanced.
Day 2
- Popsicle Sticks
- Clothes Pin
- Markers
A Naughty Nice Chart for the week. This is super easy to make, Elf might see your child doing something good, so she/he can be moved up on the chart. Elementary teachers use something similar to this in schools. At the end the week, you could send the chart back to the North Pole, or you can keep it going. I’ll post pictures once my Elf arrives.
Day 3
- Poo-Poori
My daughter loves when the Elf is funny or Naughty. This is a great one to use when you are short for time. Just put Elf in the bathroom in a roll of toilet paper with a can of this spray. I will put a funny note with mine about other family members stinking up the house. You can even cut out some of the toilet paper in the shape of snow flakes if you want to take the extra step/
Day 4
- Jar
- Jelly Beans
- Small Christmas Trinket
Have your Elf arrive with a jar full of jelly beans. This is a guessing game where the whole family can participate. Have everyone fill out a paper with how many beans are in the jar. The winner gets a special treat from the North Pole.
Day 5
- Glow Sticks
Elf can throw a glow party while your child is sleeping. This is a cheap an easy Elf idea that your kids will love!
Day 6
Find a jar around the house and put your elf in it. Take him on a field trip. This would be a great night to go look at Christmas lights with your Elf.
Day 7
- Mini Powdered Donuts
- M&M’s
- Chocolate Chips
- Green Food Coloring
Have a special Elf breakfast with snowman donuts and green milk. You could do red too with a candy cane.
